Kaidro: A Role-Playing Web3 Game
In this role-playing game, players can gather and trade creatures called Kaidros in a fantasy world. There are many traits and skills that can be upgraded and traded between players for different Kaidros. These Kaidros come in a wide range of sizes and shapes, each with their own special skills and traits. This game will enable players to explore the Kaidro universe and unveil its secrets as they gather and exchange Kaidros.
The story of "Kaidro" takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where a group of mech-wielding soldiers crosses swords against supernatural magic users. Three teams of three players each must accomplish different tasks on maps while fending off adversarial teams in this game that combines player-versus-player, player-versus-environment, and more extensive questing mechanisms.

Peggy Chung and Robert Simons, the developers of "Kaidro" and co-founders of Gadget-Bot, discussed the concept behind the game and why they decided to use NFTs for it after working on AAA titles like Call of Duty and Apex Legends. These developers are also praised for the success of blockbuster movies like "Jurassic World" and "Ender's Game".

In the past, they approached Kickstarter to finance the creation of "Kaidro,". They successfully raised money to publish a series of physical graphic novels based on the original Webtoons comics. These evocative novels received over 1.6 million views and a 9.6-star rating.
Simons and Chung Highlighted the Ongoing Efforts
Simons talked about Kaidro NFT: “When we were growing this fanbase, we were creating this huge world. When we saw Web3, we saw it as this way of giving ownership to that fanbase and letting them be a part of it. We saw things like NFTs and things like that as a way for people to actually own a portion of the 'Kaidro' world and forever own it.”
Meanwhile, Chung continued on Gadget-Bot’s impressive strategy for the Kaidro game: “We don’t want to be limited with how we can expand that world”. According to Chung, the interactive universe will include characters outside the comic book series' lead character Ava. They are also working on an animated series project in collaboration with Tim Hedrick ("Avatar: The Last Airbender").
Kaidro NFTs
Each NFT will grant its owner a playable character from a particular clan in the Kaidro game, which will initially launch on PC and then make its way to mobile devices.
